Our new purpose built ‘state of the art’ sales and manufacturing facility is progressing quickly with construction work well advanced, we are all very excited about moving the production team very soon, the new workshop will deliver added capacity and offer a fantastic facility for our very excited manufacturing team and we plan to move the sales and admin team to the brand new dedicated camper trailers showroom over the Christmas break ready to start operating from our new Brisbane home January 2013.

Most used word of the ‘Conquering The Simpson 2012′ trip = WOW!
And it certainly became the most used after the last 3 days. Seeing Uluru (the sunset and the sunrise), climbing the rock and then seeing and flying above King’s Canyon was the most amazing experience and I think I can say that on behalf of the team, it was definitely an experience that will be remembered and treasured for many years to come.
This morning we were lucky enough to wake up to a warmer morning whilst watching the beautiful sun rise up into the clear blue sky over the top of King’s Canyon. The views that we have seen not only in the morning during sunrise or in the evening during the sunset, but also during the days whilst we have been on the road have been absolutely breath taking. This amazing land of Australia that we are lucky enough to be able to call home is one that is definitely worth exploring!
Today we are heading off through Alice Springs and then heading onto Ooraminna Homestead which is a working cattle station. The team are very excited to hopefully experience the cattle being mustered during our stay.

Hi there, I’m Jessica Swinglehurst and I will be your tour guide for the duration of the trip. With constant updates, I will be your inside view into everything that happens on the trip to the Simpson Desert.
After a very early and cold departure at 4:30am this morning, Team Lifestyle left Brisbane with high spirits and smiles on their faces.
Just over a year ago the first text message was sent out suggesting a trip to the great Simpson Desert be undertaken and within no more than 3 minutes, the first response was received. With many meetings, laughs, stressful and tiring months of planing, the trip ‘Conquering The Simpson 2012′ was established including a team of 7 families, 30 people, 11 cars and 6 Lifestyle Camper Trailers .
Looking forward to 16 days of 4×4-ing, proper camping, laughs and memories to be made whilst being surrounded by great friends and family, the team is looking forward to a trip that is sure to be one to remember.
Our planned destination for the first day of our trip is a motel in Kunnamulla where we will be staying the night. With the excited of the commencement of the trip and the yawns having already started, it is sure to be an early night followed by another early wake up call in the morning for our second big day on the road.
